During those years I have worked with people dealing with many different life situations. My career includes working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/psychotherapist, an agency director, starting several programs and perhaps most importantly being a home school mom. Working with adolescents and young adults that have been making decisions regarding where they want to go in life can be both exciting and frustrating. It’s looking at the picture of the puzzle and than helping them find all the pieces to put the puzzle together. If you don’t have the correct pieces for the puzzle, the puzzle will not get finished to look like the picture you have. Sometimes it feels like the wrong pieces were put in the box. Sometimes it feels like there are pieces missing. I work to help people complete their individual puzzle. This starts with deciding what the puzzle looks like when it’s complete. Then helping gather the correct pieces, putting them in order and fitting the puzzle together. You have to know what you want the picture to look like in order to put it together. This is working backwards and keeping all the pieces available till you decide which ones you need to complete your puzzle.
